I developed this logo after looking through numerous AI generated and stock images of modern logos with the initials KD. None of the AI generated nor stock images I saw appealed to me nor felt organic.
Workflow:
Spent half an hour generating numerous AI images through AI logo generators and ChatGPT.
Spent half an hour going through stock images of logos.
Created the logo using Krita. The logo is supposed to be a KD where the K and D join to show a pallet board, note the dot indicating the hole of the pallet board and the hole in the D.
I created this cover for a manual I spearheaded the development of at my job at Alaska Airlines.
The manual is a 300+ page SOP for records keeping.
The cover itself was created in Adobe Illustrate, and showcases a variation of the familiar Alaska Airlines Aura, along with Alaska Airline colors.
Pairing the white background with the Alaska Navy Blue ensures the proper color contrast for text accessibility.
This Brand image for my Art site is a culmination of several different techniques I've used to develop into my own art style:
No blending on shading. This is common in cartoons, graphics, and anime.
Use of patterns or textures.
Use of geometric shapes to emphasize both symmetry and asymmetry.
Pen & Ink techniques, i.e. hatching and stippling.
I initially started this as a normal self portrait, but decided that I want the piece to be a little bit more interesting.
This was created in Krita.
I created this fake magazine cover as part of a gesture drawing project.
References were:
Lizzo's Oct 2020 Vogue cover.
Rihanna's Oct 2019 Vogue cover.
Vogue fonts are readily available online, so it was easy to design the magazine given the above references and the font. The background was originally Santorino, but I pivoted toward a magazine cover since it made more sense.
This was created in Krita.
This cover uses the same techniques I mentioned in the above Art Site brand, however with less geometry, and more patterns.
